Windows 10: Getting Inaccessible Boot Device troubleshooting

    Getting Inaccessible Boot Device troubleshooting


    I did updates to my PC a couple of weeks ago and had no issue with windows until the updates were done and it wouldn't boot into windows with the error Inaccessible Boot Device. I checked to see if the drive was being seen to which it is. I downloaded a boot onto a USB to see if I can get into WR mode but when I clicked on Repair this computer, it could not find the issue. I have tried the other troubleshooting steps that involve three shutdowns then see if it would boot in safe mode, it did not work. I'm at the final step of doing a clean install but I am worried that I will need my windows l

    It is an intermediate level link.
    There are more advanced steps that can be ran once the partition structure is known.
    There are steps for repair of the boot sector, operating system, etc.
    Sometimes this bugcheck can be caused by windows updates.

    A reset save files equivalent may be able to be performed.
    Alternatively a clean install can be performed once important files are backed up.

    Unable to get past step 1 . Tried both safe mode and safe mode with networking. Goes back to Getting Inaccessible Boot Device troubleshooting :( inaccessible boot device.
