Windows 10: Getting Some settings are hidden or managed by your organization in Advanced keyboard settings.

Of course, there is no organization -- I'm at Home.


How can I unhide those settings?

My Problem:

I set the numlock function off (via the NumLock key), then changed the NumLock key scan code mapping (via the Registry) so that the NumLock key is disabled. That worked for a day and is not the issue.

What is the issue is that something is turning the numlock function back on (which means that, because the NumLock key is disabled, I cannot easily turn the numlock function off again).

I suspect that the "hidden or managed" keyboard settings may have something to do with this. How can I expose those settings?

I cant remove this error in my advanced keyboard settings so i can make changes.

I've tried this;

This did not work even after restart.

I've looked for the keyboard settings here and can't find them.

Is there a way I can make advanced keyboard setting changes to my Windows 10 pro on my Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series laptop?

Thank you for the link. I was able to set my Diagnostics Data to Full by using gpedit.msc. But I still am not able to get rid of "Some settings are hidden or managed bu your organization."

Any advise?

 

Advanced keyboard setting not available

Hey,

I reinstalled Windows10 Professional from scratch these days.

For whatever reason I can't access the 'Advanced keyboard setting' in full.

red comment: some settings are hidden or managed by your organization.

There is no external organization - it's only me on the computer.

I used it in the beginning - must have switched something - but what and how to get it back???
