    Getting Windows 10 back


    Recently I decided to go back to Windows 10 from Ubuntu. When I first installed Ubuntu I did normal installation and formatted to only run 1 OS.

    I got the .iso file, hard drive formatted and Linux is gone and during installation attempt I am getting an error stating that Windows needs to be installed on a partition formatted in NTFS as the current one are currently formatted in EFI.

    I tried to format X: due to formatting options for C: were the only options due to the .iso but nothing worked.

    Any ideas what could be the solution to this?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
