    Getting Windows updates fails with media creation tool.


    About upgrading to windows 10 operating system with microsoft media creation tool.

    When the getting updates, process gets to 46% done then it freezes up. The juggle balls still rotate.

    The system is a Samsung laptop about 5 years old, successfully upgraded from windows 8 to 8.1 OS. About 140 GB SSD.

    New Product key purchased from Microsoft.

    What should I do?

    Media Creation Tool is NOT working

    Hi,

    There are several reasons why you're getting this issue on downloading Windows 10 using the
    Media Creation Tool. The most common are the network connection or the anti-virus firewall is enabled on your device.

    To resolve this, we suggest that you manually update the operating system instead of using the Media Creation Tool. Click on this

    What is the exact and complete error you get when you try to create Media creation tool?
