    GIGABYTE GTX 1060 6GB FANSTOP Problem?


    Hello,

    i just asked if i should reset my pc because it is in streams and because i have changed my graphics card 4 times and i remembered that when i stream undco, the graphics card often stays in FAN STOP.
    I also noticed that when I play a game on low, I often don't have as many FPS as when I play the game on high or so.
    In this case the graphics card goes out of the FAN STOP at the graphics settings High.

    Is there a solution or do I just have to reset my pc?

    PC Specs:
    I5 3570K
    GTX 1060 6GB OC from Gigabyte
    16GB DDR3

    [SOLVED] GTX 1060 6GB KFA² Bios modification

    Helo,

    It's my first post in this forum \o/, but not my first search *Wink GIGABYTE GTX 1060 6GB FANSTOP Problem? ;) as i don't find an answer for the following question i ask to you now

    It's all about bios modification of my graphic card

    As i learn there is no chance to modify the bios of a GTX 10 series GPU.

    But as i understand it's possible to flash the bios of another GTX 10 series GPU.

    In my case i own a KFA² GTX 1060 6BG and for now in most case it's power limited, so i have two questions :
    • How many watts the 3 +1 phase design can handle
    • Is it safe to flash this bios GALAX ( KFA²) 1060 6BG EX OC instead of KFA² 1060 6GB OC as the only discrepancies i saw are :
      • For BIOS
        • The number of output connector
        • Power limitation
        • Frequencies
      • For Hardware
        • Phase design and number (3+1 to 6 +1 ?)
