    Go back recovery option, screen staying blank for 1hr +


    Hi i performed a go back recovery on my pc to return from windows 24h2 to windows 23h2 the option wasnt in grey it allowed me to proceed as i updated to windows 24h2 within the 10 day period, ever since starting the go back option my screen has been blank and it hasnt changed a single time, i check my second monitor and that screen also says no signal. Im not so sure what i should do as it has been over an hour now

    Screen stays on

    Hi Scott,

    Enable for you PC screen to stay on, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Click Hardware and Sound option.
    • Click Change when the computer sleep option under Power Options.
    • Set up your desire settings for Turn off the display and
      Put the computer to sleep       option.
    • Click Save Changes.

    BSOD and Blank Screen!

    Hi,

    I understand that the previously provided solution didn't work so as the next step in solving your issue I would suggest you follow the below.

    Step 1:

    On the login screen click on Power icon on the right corner

    Step 2:

    Press Shift Key and press hold and then click Restart (This will restart the system in recovery mode)

    Step 3:

    In the recovery bluescreen options you’ll need to click (or tap) the Troubleshoot option

    Step 4:

    Then click on Refresh your PC (Keeps data and programs safe)
