Windows 10: Good day.. I was wondering how to bypass updates that not matter what I do will not update...

This is preventing me from being able do any updates and my cpu is progressively giving more and more problems because of critical update not being able to download.Now I have read posts stating that Microsoft is unwilling to fix this issue and its all over the internet that this is the case, also unwilling to provide a update to fix this issue or provide information or guidance to bypass this so my computer can receive further updates.Please provide some information so this can be fixed, I have been using Microsoft for 20 years and don't think a fix or some help that will actually fix this is

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ( bypassed password ).

Well windows update kicked in to day for the new creators update and by the end of the day found time to get it out of the way.

Apparently after the update it said it BS HI crap it bypassed the login password, well rebooted and password is still there but raises a question to me.

If MS can put some thing on your system that can bypass the loggin how it it any safer, to me it's like a backdoor they can use when ever they feel like.

On top of thatBefore deciding too update the system booted up all by it's own, now i have witnessed this while the system is in sleep mode ( not sure about hibernation ) but this being my main system it's always fully shutdown.

So is MS sending magic packets too system to wake them up for updates ?, and yeah i be checking the network card settings just in case.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Day of Defeat: Source Update Released

An update to Valve's popular WW2 shooter has now been released. All you need do is restart Steam (if it is currently running) or launch Steam to get the update.

List of updates:

• Added new Detonation game mode
• Added two new Detonation maps: Jagd and Colmar
• Added film grain and color correction cinematic effects while in spectator
• Optimizations to the player animation blending system
• Improved bullet and melee attack hit detection
• Shortened the BAR reload time
• Reduced recoil and fire delay on the Garand (yes!
• Added support for bloom on DX8 video cards
• Added new phong Shading/Rim Lighting on player models
• Added vertex lighting to props

There are a few more additions and fixes included. Needless to say, this is the largest update to Day of Defeat: Source yet from Valve.
