  1. Google Chrome and other animations are not correct after Windows Subsystem for Linux?

Hi guys, I'm not exactly sure why this is happening but it is fairly annoying for me. Essentially, Google Chrome, Edge Beta, and other chromium browsers are not properly rendering the "material" effects. By this I mean, when I hover over a new tab there is normally a highlight effect which also highlights where the cursor is, kind of like fluent design except for google. I've also noticed the animations for certain Windows 10 things are sped up (like switching desktops just snaps to the next one instead of smoothly rolling) , and some right click menus look wrong in general, kind of like the windows 98 menus. Also, the desktop toolbar for taskbar is showing a Windows 7 design rather than a Windows 10 one. The major changes I have made to my system are installing (and then removing) WindowBlinds, attempting to install UltraUXTheme Patcher (which never manages to patch themes), and applying a classic skin. The most major change was Windows Subsystem for Linux, which is when I noticed the Chrome UI was wrong. I used WSL to install KDE Plasma, as I had read that you can boot Linux DE's into a separate window, like a virtual machine. After the installation it updated some display settings, and I want to know if anyone else is experiencing something similar after being an idiot with things. I am fine with the weird right click menus because they look almost cool, but I do want to know if there is a fix for everything else. I have made several restore points before fucking with my system, but I seem to be unable to use any of them because of something about OneDrive.

you need to run the PowerShell command first and then install the required Linux distribution from the store. I suggest you to try running the PowerShell command
