Windows 10: Google Chrome keeps freezing ONLY with Wi-Fi ON!

Hello, I have a weird issue with google chrome and It's over a year now with no solve.
my google chrome browser keeps freezing after a short time opening. maybe from one to three minutes and It freezes (Not responding), the weird thing I have noticed that, this happens only when Wi-Fi is on! means, when I activate flight mode and open chrome it acts well with no issues, if connected to internet via Wi-Fi it lasts a couple minutes before freezing. the second weird thing, this happens with chrome ONLY, Firefox is well, Edge is well. it's over a year now and I tried all expected solution, Reinstall, Update, Clear.. ETC. and still not solved. so I hope to find a solution.

Google Chrome keep freezing

I am running windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron laptop. I have been doing so for quite some time and using Google Chrome as my browser with no problems whatsoever. Recently, however, Google Chrome has been freezing. Then I have to press control+alt+delete
and bring up my task manager to shut google down. I have McAfee antivirus plus software and Malwarebytes installed on my computer. When I restart my computer, I see a brief message that GDI+ window is preventing the computer from shutting down. Then my
computer will shut down, and restart, and I can use my Google Chrome browser for a short time again before it re-freezes. Any suggestions as to how to solve my problem will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

problem uninstalling google chrome

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.
