Windows 10: Google Earth Pro free & Windows 10

Just want to know if its true that Google Earth Pro is now free of charge, and does it go well with Windows 10-?

Google earth not working with Windows 10

Since Google combined Earth and Earth Pro they started auto updating. I've found their newest version 7.3.X.XXXX DOESN'T RUN standalone in my Win10 PC's with all current updates, and appears to only run within a download in the Chrome browser! After some
frustration, my solution was to Uninstall the new Google Earth Pro and Download & Run, previous version of Google Earth Pro 7.1.8.3036 . WORKS FINE! What's up Google?

Installed itself some time ago and runs well on my system. No problems here.

 

It is true, they made the Pro version free some time ago, sites like ninite.com have the Pro version now.
