Windows 10: google tool bar in windows 10 and language settings

I have twice attempted to install the Google Toolbar (in Chrome) on my new laptop HP Spectre but each time it says " Google toolbar not available for this broswer"


The reason I need to install it is that I have lost English spell check while I use this browser (with this laptop ) and according to various tutorials found on line it does depend on Google language settings. It makes sense since I do have proper english spell check in other app like Word and my Region & Language/Keyboard settings are all in the rigt place ( yet again:english)

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Language bar is gone in windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue persists.

• Press Windows + X keys and select Control Panel.
• Search Language and select it.
• Left side pane select Advanced settings.
• Under Switching Input methods check mark "Use the desktop language bar when its available."
• Click Save. Check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 - Language bar is missing after MSRA connection

Step: Check Language Bar is Hidden.

1. Press Windows logo and I key, open Settings
2. Click on Devices
3. Select Typing
4. Select the option Advanced keyboard settings
5. Then select Language bar options
6. Check the box: Show text labels on the Language bar
7. Then select the Language Bar tab and make sure that the
   Docked in the taskbar option is checked.
8. Click on Apply and OK to exit, and check if that helps.

Language setting in Windows 10

In Windows 10 you have to download different languages like Spanish French etc. and add to keyboard. Every time you want to change language you can use the short cur
Windows key + Space bar.

Follow the steps below to download language in Windows 10.

• Click on Start menu and select Settings.
• Click on Time and language; Click on Region and Language.
• Under Language click on Add language.
• Choose the language from the list and click on it.

Refer the step to setup Keyboard for language.

• Click on Language and tap/click on Options.
• Click on Add a Keyboard.
