Hey, so about 3 days ago I built a new pc, when all of a sudden the screen froze and I got a bsod error. Apparently I got a clock_watchdog_timeout error meaning I probably got a cpu problem? Im not sure. I reinstalled windows and now my apps keep on crashing when I open them for some reason. If you have the solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated! :

    PC Specs:

    AMD Ryzen 3 3200g

    rog strix b450-f gaming

    16gb memory2x8 gb

    OS: Win 10 pro

PS: I dont know too much of computer stuff so if i didnt mention something just tell me.

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT After Leaving PC for 5-10 Minutes

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

Got clock_watchdog_timeout error and apps constantly crash when opened [IMG]

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

The 0x101(CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) is mostly caused by BIOS or hardware problem, the challenge is to find software problems.
I suggest to update your BIOS.
    Code:
    Code:
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. 2001 , 7/8/2011
    Attachment 51031

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Got clock_watchdog_timeout error and apps constantly crash when opened :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
