Windows 10: got no display after increasing ram frequency from 2400mhz to 2666mhz and more.

Hey, I have been using 2400mhz right now, and when I try to increase my ram frequency to 2666mhz and I get a black screen with the fan spinningI have updated my bios and my motherboard supports 2933mhz for my processor and the ram supports 3200mhz please help!

RAM speed getting reduced from 2666mhz to 2400mhz after upgrading from 8 GB to 16 GB

Hi

i have a dell inspiron 3880 with i5-10400 that allows RAM speed upto 2666mhz

since it was pre-built, the ram stick(8 GB) was 3200mhz despite the max speed allowed by the processor being 2666mhz

After awhile I attached another stick because of performance issues

I thought the speed would still remain 2666mhz but after installing the stick and checking the speed it reduced to 2400mhz.

Is there any way to restore the speed?

The Specs for that laptop list your RAM clock speed at 2400Mhz, even if you do but 2666Mhz RAM, the system will match the speed of the ram Sticks to the lower of the two automatically . . .

 

Increase ActiveSync schedule frequency

Hi There

I see lots of posts on the internet about decreasing the activesync schedule frequency, mainly for saving battery life.

I would like to do the opposite; I would like to increase the frequency - I'm running with an extended capacity battery, so I'm not overly worried about battery drain.

Currently, the frequency is Manual, 5min, 10min, etc. I'm looking to increase the frequency to about 1 minute.

Any suggestions?
