Windows 10: GPU and CPU cooling fans at startup.

Since switching to W10 pro on a new build, two months ago, the CPU and GPU fans have been running at full speed for 1-2 seconds at startup. The graphics card is about a year old RX580 8GB and the M.B. is new Gigabyte Elite X570 with an AMD 3600. Sometimes they run for 1 second and sometimes longer 2 seconds. I never had this on my old W7 P.C. with the same graphics card. All the drivers etc, are the newest.


I did first buy an ASUS M.B. but the graphics card blocked the small fan for the memory so I sent it back. The fans also behaved the same with this M.B. as I tried it for a a day or two.


The CPU fan is set using the M.B. software, but not the graphics card which uses AMD's software. It is like something is not sarting this software until the system has fully booted, or is overiding it.


On my W7 machine I had W10 in duel boot and it never caused this to happen. It was not W10 pro, though.


Anyone have any ideas as what could be causing this?

Cooling external Fan

For us to isolate the issue with your external fan, please provide the following information:

• When did the issue start?
  
• Have you tried connecting other USB external devices to your laptop? If yes, what was the result?
  
• Have you tried connecting your external fan to another computer?

CPU is not Cooling

My CPU is not getting cooled .For this I tried to contact chat with microsoft support. But I wasnt able to connect to them.

My problem is this that my CPU is getting overheated and I have one processor fan and 2 case fans. What should I do?

So I already did all of those except option 3, which wouldn't help me. I went back into startup however and had nothing on out the ordinary, it was all stuff I wanted. But for **** and giggles I turned all mobo startup tools off and sure enough that did
it. I then checked for an update and I'm up to date with it.

I'm using an ASUS mobo, the fans that were going haywire were my processor fans. (It's a dual fan cooling unit.) I had downloaded speedfan and even when I changed their speed it did nothing. So not 100% sure that was the problem but it fixed it, even after
multiple restarts.

need to disable it all if you don't want, just the ASUS services.
