  1. GPU driver issue?

I have been trying to update the drivers for my nvidia 3060ti for a few months. Every time I try to do this, once completing the update the resolution changes to 1024 x 768 with no option to change it back within the window settings, with 1024 x 768 being the highest resolution my system will allow me to select. There is also no option to turn on HDR. I then have to roll back to a previous driver to get my normal resolution of 2560 X 1440. What am I doing wrong?

    :)

  2. GPU crashes after installing windows 10

    Hi,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I appreciate your interest on windows 10.

I understand your concern and will help you with the issue.

As you said, you are facing the issue while playing a game that requires better gpu.so, the issue is related to graphics driver.

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

    Method 1

As, you tried uninstalling nvidia gpu and installing newest drivers(358.50),and it did not work. so, in that case I suggest you to download and install the earlier version of the driver from
    manufacturer website and check .

    If issue persists,

    Method 2

I suggest you to disable Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and check if it helps..

To do so, Please follow the steps below:

    • Type devicemanager in the
      search
      bar.

    • Expand the display driver.

    • Right click on
      Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
      driver and click disable.

    Still issue persists,

Please contact to the manufacturer website.

Please get back to us with updated status, we will be happy to assist you.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    GPU driver issue?

    GPU Issue

Hello all, I've been trying to track down the cause of a CTD issue I have been having seemingly out of now where in all games. I suspect there is an issue with the GPU at this point. Usually I will get a CTD after playing about 1-2 hours. What I've tried so far:
    • Removed drivers with DDU tool and clean install.
    • Tried several different drivers.
    • Updated firmware
    • Removed all CPU overclock
    • Applied 60FPS screen cap
    • Reduced GPU power target
    • Downclocked GPU by 40Mhz
    • Removed and re-seated GPU

Recently I've tried using EVGA's PX1 stress test tool and when I get about halfway done with the test I get a hard crash and restart (dump file attached). GPU is an EVGA 3080Ti FTW3, PSU is new EVGA 850watt, All 3 GPU power cables are separate from the PSU (no daisy chain).
Anyone have any idea what it could be, or do you think it is the GPU?
