I was hoping it had left a dump file, but unfortunately not. Pleas go ahead and run the Furmark test @Boozad asked for in post 2. Be sure to have a GPU monitoring program and watch it constantly. Temps will go up rapidly and very high. If it gets too hot, stop the test. Run it until the temps level out and stop increasing, which should be just a few minutes. Watch for artifacts while the test is running also.

  3. I was about to run Furmark but then I noticed AUXTIN was overheating. Also I had another CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BSOD so I uploaded that aswell.

friendlybear, I know the tutorial says to use Speedfan. Personally I don't trust the readings it gives. You may want to look at Cupid HWMonitor HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID, Open Hardware Monitor Downloads - Open Hardware Monitor or I always prefer hardware specific programs such as Core Temp or Real Temp for CPU temps and Programs specifically for GPU Temps like MSI Afterburner MSI Global, EVGA Precision X if you have an EVGA Card or you list a Sapphire card. They have Sapphire Trixx, which is a good program. http://www.sapphiretech.com/productd...nload&lang=eng . On the Sapphire link scroll down and click on Utilities. Trixx and Afterburner are basically an overclocking utility, but they are very good monitoring programs and you can adjust fan speed and several things and not worry about overclocking.

  5. Ran the furmark test for 4 minutes. Temperatures stayed at 80°C and didn't increase for the rest of the test. As far as I could tell there wasn't any artifacting. Which is odd, since some of my games artifact. Not all of them, just some. Also I can't open CCC as per usual. I also had a MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION BSOD recently so I'll go ahead and post that.

I have ran malware scans and tried fresh install of driver to no avail.

EDIT: I have been thinking about reseating the GPU. Long story short this PC has been acting up ever since I replaced all the parts from water damage. I haven't touched the GPU at all and perhaps the PCIE slots are dislodged or something isn't seated properly? Could that potentially cause these problems? They seem software related but I read in a few forums that physical hardware issues can be a cause.

Also, after installing a Windows update my background was black for some reason. It came back after 10 minutes but then went black again. I restarted and set the background manually and it has stayed thus far. Plus I am having trouble with my browsers. I am using Firefox to watch Twitch and when I choose 'Source' which is 1080p/60fps quality. It has a strange fps lag. Even more-so if I move my mouse into the player itself. It works normally in Chrome but it does this annoying buffer in Chrome that forces me to refresh the page to solve. If I don't it will just buffer forever. Sorry for the rant I just thought I may as well update you with this problem machine.

Can you tell me what external devices you have connected to the computer? Looking at your 2 dump files, one listed the Intelppm as the cause (the CPU driver) the other was the same as you have been getting all along Stop code EF. Maybe @Boozad will take a look, ([MS-FSCC]: FileFsDeviceInformation) but this is the closest I can find

Code: ffffe001a84e7840 Device object (ffffe001a84e7840) is for: Cannot read _DRIVER_OBJECT at ffffe001a847ce90 DriverObject ffffe001a847ce90 Current Irp ffffe001a84e7858 RefCount 0 Type 00000000 Flags a8484378 Vpb ffffe001a94cb838 DevExt 00000000 DevObjExt 00000000 Characteristics (0xffffe001) FILE_REMOVABLE_MEDIA, FILE_CHARACTERISTIC_WEBDAV_DEVICE, FILE_CHARACTERISTIC_CSV, FILE_DEVICE_ALLOW_APPCONTAINER_TRAVERSAL, FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE Unknown flags 0xfff8c000 AttachedDevice (Upper) ffffe001a84e7858ffffe001a84e7858: is not a device object[/quote] Next please right click on the start icon and select Command prompt administrator, give admin permissions and copy/paste this into the window that opens and press enter sfc /scannow . If you decide to type it in, please notice the space between the sfc and the /. We want it to say no integrity violations were found. If it says there where corrupt files that could not be repaired, please reboot and run it again. You may have to run it 3 times with reboots in between each time. Try that and let me know what you find.

Also, in an admin command prompt just like above, please run this command, just copy paste it into the window and press enter Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth . It will stay at 20% for a long time and act like it is doing nothing, but it is. It can take from 20 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on what it finds. And a lot of people can't run it and I have no idea why.

  7. Well I've got a secondary hard drive. It used to have Windows installed onto it but I upgraded to one with more storage. Other than that I only have my headphones, mouse and keyboard plugged in. I'll run that scan on both HDDs just incase.

Perhaps that driver error is because of my GPU? I'm not sure if reseating it would fix this. I've pretty much tried everything other than that.

Is it to safe to game while I am running those commands?

I wouldn't game while running them. The sfc scan will only take a few minutes to run. The other one can take a while, but not always.

  9. "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
    supported in offline servicing scenarios."

So what do I do now? Is this most likely the problem?

  11. Was about to do that. Just making sure. I'll also run the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth after.

  12. Ran the sfc /scannow command 5 times and it still gives that error message.

I also ran the Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command and within 5 minutes it gave this error message:

"Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool

    Image Version: 10.0.10240.16384

The source files could not be found.
Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see Configure a Windows Repair Source.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log"

Should I upload the DISM and CBS logs?

I'm not sure whether this is relevant but I get the exact same results when I run sfc /scannow and DISM so whether that's part of the problem or not I wouldn't like ot hazard a guess. Do you have onboard graphics you could use for testing purposes? I'm just thinking of ruling out the GPU altogether.

  14. As in Intel HD graphics? I don't have a spare GPU to use.

Yes, I'm sure that's what he means. Could you remove the graphics card from the computer and connect the monitor to the Onboard graphics and see if you get the same results?
