Windows 10: Graphics card is not detected in device manager

Hello, I have Windows 11 Home 23H2 with latest updates installed. I always try to update windows and other drivers.Recently my graphics card Nvidia GTX 1650 is not recognized by device manager, instead it is listed as hidden not once but twice.This happened while I was watching a movie my screen went blue saying your pc ran into a problem then restarted instantly, so I could not read its error code. I installed my GPU driver manually a couple times, and the problem solved then the whole thing happened again. I also tried several methods from Youtube including,cmd prompt: bcdedit /set pciex

• Do you get any error message while playing or to launch a game?

I suggest you to unhide the hidden drivers in Device Manager by following the steps provided below and check if the Graphic card driver is visible:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Click on View and click on Show Hidden Devices.

Graphics card not detected in device manager

Hi, my graphics card is not detected in device manager post upgrade to Windows 11, and is thus replaced with "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter", resulting in a decreased performance and far more lag. How would I circumvent this, for simply clicking "show hidden devices" and tampering with the BIOS does not show my hardware.

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.
