Windows 10: graphics card treiber stops booting PC. Bachelor Thesis may be lost

Hey Guys,

apparently my Radeon graphics card treiber, on Windows 10, is hindering my PC from booting up. Every time I boot up my PC normally I get a black screen with cursor.

I've tried so many things to be able to boot my PC but nothing works. Maybe you have some more ideas. The problem is I just can't wipe my PC because my bachelor thesis is stored on it and I had no time yet to do a backup.



I took out my graphics cards and tried to start it without it, just using the GPU.

I've tried to boot it normally and open up task manager or anything. Nothing works. I can open up the Windows P thing where you can switch your screen but that's it.

I've booted into the Recovery Environment and tried Startup Repair.

I've deleted past windows updates.

I've tried to boot into safe mode but got this message "logonui.exe system error" and can't click the message away.



Is there anything left I can do? I'm really desperate to not lose my bachelor thesis.

graphics card problems

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

The error might occur if the Graphic card is cannot update the driver automatically.

I suggest you to update the graphic card manually by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
• Expand Display Driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and select
  update driver software.

Also, can download the latest version of the graphic card from the manufacturer website.

red X = disabled

yellow exclamation mark = drivers are not properly installed

To resolve the issue, we suggest contacting the manufacturer of your graphics card to have it checked.
