Windows 10: Group policy prevents Chrome installation

    Group policy prevents Chrome installation


    Running Windows 10 on a Dell Insiprion 3847 with 16GB RAM. When I try to install the Chrome browser, I get this message: "Your network administrator has applied a Group Policy that prevents installation." How do I clear this group policy?

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

    You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

    After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

    Group policy prevents Chrome installation

    I cannot install applications (like Google Chrome), appears "Your network administrator has applied Group Policy that prevents installation". But I'm the administrator.

    I cannot install Google Chrome, appears "Your network administrator has applied Group Policy that prevents installation". But I'm the administrator.

    I cannot save a files in my folder because admin was restricting it to be saved on that folder. How can it be? I'm the administrator of this PC.
