Windows 10: hacked version windows 10

Hello, So I bought a computer and it has a hacked version of windows 10 running on it that keeps telling me I need to buy a new version from the Microsoft store. Now I am very low incomed I only paid $70 bucks to start with and its very pricey to get some new installed clean version of 10. Why cant I just do a factory reset on my computer remove and windows version they upgraded to and run from that? I know that when my computer was very first made and sold it was done so with whatever version was running at that time, but for some reason I cant get to that. So if anyone has any advice on what I can do or a place I can go to due to my income and help me with getting this fixed other then just throwing the laptop out it would be great and ty for taking the time to answer.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
