Hi!I purchased a reconditioned PC with Win 11 proWhen I opened it, French was the system languageI downloaded English and set it as system language and restarted. I also checked the other settings see all steps below except it didn't work. So, now, half of my PC is in English and the other half in French.When I click And Win I see "Settings" but when I open it, it's all in French. The file explorer is also in French.To complicate things further, I need the keyboard to be in French I already have an AZERTY keyboard but the system in English -which I managed to do without any issues on my ot

Windows 10 installed as french version but «reverted» to English after yesterday's update

I suggest you to change the Language and date & time settings again. Follow the below steps.

  Open the Start menu and type
  Settings in the search bar.

  Click on Time and Language.
  
• 
  Select the Region and Language and make sure that you select
  Country and region to French Guina.
  
• 
  Under the Language click on
  Add a language and download the French language pack.
  
• 
  After the language pack has downloaded, click on
  French language pack and Set as default
  
• 
  Close the settings and Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.
  

I suggest you to change the time of the system also accordingly for the changes to take effectively.

Why are half my Windows 10 Apps in French

I have a Lenovo Flex Laptop that is about 3 years old, I've been running windows 10 on it since it came out and recently I have been adjusting my languages settings to see if I could get Cortana to work better. However by doing this I've managed to change
half of my Windows Apps to French. As in Mail is Courrier but Photos in still Photos. Anyone know how to change it back? I thankfully am fluent in French but I find it distracting and hard to find things when half are in French and half in English because
alphabetically they have all moved.

 

Microsoft Store is half english/half french

Most of the Windows Store is English, exactly how it should be. But the categories and the default languages for movies is French.

I cant understand this since only have English en-CH & Deutsch (Schweiz) under the Region Settings, which both has nothing to do with French.
