I get a bluescreen randomly while playing games, usually when I have high quality and multicore rendering on. This happened on the games Rust, League of legends and cs go.

    help would be greatly appreciated.

Bluescreen issue after Windows 10 'Creators update'

I'm getting frequent blue screens too, from my formally stable machine.

However, reading the minidump with BlueScreenView shows the failure in hall.dll

    Help!

  3. BSOD: "clock watchdog timeout" dump included

    Soooooooooo quick update.

It happaned again, I downloaded something called bluescreenview. And the following two thingies were highlighted in red:

    hall.dll

    ntoskrnl.exe

Presumably the cause of the issue is related to these?

    Does this help at all?

    Hello *Smile

The BSODs are likely to be hardware related:
Code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124) A fatal hardware error has occurred.[/quote] The usual procedure is to run a series of hardware tests and report back on the results.

See the following for some guidance:

Run Prime95 to stress test your CPU. Prime95 Tutorial
Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ Tutorial
Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools Tutorial
Run Furmark to stress test your GPU. Furmark Tutorial
    Run chkdsk Chkdsk

6 hours does not seem long enough for you to have been able to run the MemTest86+ properly. You have 16GB of memory and that is going to take a day to complete the full 8 passes required to run the test properly. Refer back to the tutorial to know what you need to do. Please post a photo of the screen after 8 or more passes so we can see that the test has been done correctly.

Looking at the image you posted shows that only 7 passes were completed. I would recommend that you leave the test running for longer than that and complete over 8 passes as I originally stated and as the tutorial recommends. Sometimes errors have been found only after 9 passes but the recommendation is a compromise between what is reasonable to wait and what is most likely to show up errors.
