Windows 10: Handing downloaded Usenet folders that appear empty.

I could use some help dealing with usenet download folders. Sometimes these folders download and open without any problem, however, the last show I downloaded came in with folders that appear empty. I have played with them using 7-Zip and have been successful 3 times, but I can't reproduce my results. I know that my show is there but it isn't showing anywhere and I can't remember how I decompressed, etc. to get to it. I'm using Newshosting usenet client and Windows 10 on my PC. Can't someone help, please?

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

• Make a new folder.
• Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
• Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
• Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin

 

cannot access groups in outlook, they all dissapeared from the menu. How about Usenet?

Over the past week, I have not been able to access the list of available groups from within my outlook email program. It seems that the entire list of groups, both private and public, disappeared from the program's menu. I remember being able to access
the Usenet Newsgroups over the internet, and it's been a long time since I've searched for any of those. This is a different set of groups which predate this email program, I guess. Is it possible for me to access Usenet through Outlook, or does Microsoft
have a newsreader program which I can download?
