  1. Hard drive died before I could deactivate my digital windows 10 pro liscense! how can I get...

I had a PC that died and Finally got a new one. So I never got the chance to deactivate the license on the old PC. I have a digital license linked to my Microsoft account but it wont let me activate it on my new PC. I go to activate it and I get an error code 0xC004F213. The trouble shoot sends me to the Microsoft store. Is there anyway I can get my windows 10 pro digital key back to activate it on my new PC?

    :)

Windows 10 home Digital Liscense running windows 10 pro issues

    Hi,

Based on the screenshot that you've shared, we'd need additional details to determine the cause of the error message.

We'd like to check the following:

    • If you're using the Windows 10 Home edition prior to formatting your hard drive.
    • If you've reinstalled the Windows 10 Home edition after you've formatted your device.
    • If you've directly installed the Windows 10 Pro edition after you've formatted your device.

We look forward to your response.
