    Hard drive not showing up when I install Windows 10


    Hi,


    I am having a problem with installing Windows 10 Pro onto my new PC. Everything has been smooth sailing until I was asked "Where do you want to install Windows?". However which my SSD wasn't detected despite being detected in the bios. Therefore there is nowhere for me to install windows and my computer is as good as an expensive paperweight.

    I have checked...

    - SATA cables and also changed the ports

    - Tried installing the boot software again onto my USB drive

    - Checked connections to my hard drive

    None of which have worked.


    Just wondering if anyone knows of any solutions?

    Windowed Hard Drives

    On the contrary, showing off "slow tech" by adding a window to a hard drive is a "dumb" idea. Do you really want to be showing off a whole "7200-10000 RPM of power" or would you rather show off a plain SSD drive? (If you really desire to "show off")

    Adding any window to any drive is just stupid. I just suggested an easier option for you since manufactures don't put windows on the latest hard drives.
