    Hardware acceleration disabled but isn't


    Hi,

    I have a problem with using certain providers of slot games in casinos not working because a message comes up saying hardware acceleration is disabled although i know it is turned on, this happens on three different web browsers so i know its not just one playing up, also webgl error appears on certain slots as well when loading, i could do with some help with this problem although i'm not desperate its just very annoying, I think its a problem with my graphics card driver from what i have managed to search for.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    In order to disable 3D hardware acceleration, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

    • Right click on the desktop and select Graphics properties.
    • Select Basic Mode and hit OK.
    • Go to the 3D option.
    • You can disable 3D graphics acceleration from this screen.

    There is no "Graphics" options on the Windows 10 desktop right click menu. Please update your reply with correct instructions.

    How to disable hardware acceleration?


    The green screen in videos happens with Flash, not video drivers. You have disable Flash Hardware acceleration in its setting when you right click on the video. If it happens with HTML5 videos, then you have to disable the web browser Hardware acceleration.

    This has been an issue since 10240 came out. It is happening with both AMD & NVidia GPU's. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is still on the bug list when I pulled down 10525, which brought other headaches.
