    Hardware config much above requirement 4GB ram and Pentium N3710 processor with 1.6 GHz...


    I have Acer Aspire R3-131T laptop with 4 GB ram and Pentium N3710 processor with 1.6 GHz clock speed. The OS Windows 10 Home Single Language runs very slow in this configuration.


    Is there some problem with the OS or Hardware?

    Windows 10 and Intel Pentium 4 550 @ 3.40 GHz?

    I'm receiving the message "The CPU isn't supported" in the "Get Windows 10" app, against this older CPU (Pentium 4 550 running at 3.40 GHz).

    3.40 GHz is greater than the 1 GHz listed in the system requirements.

    Does Windows 10 have a thing against Hyper-Threading, or require Virtualization tech from Intel CPUs? Are Pentium 4s not supported at all?

    Has anyone gone ahead and run the upgrade anyway on this type of CPU?

    Processor Requirements For Windows 10 Upgrade.

    I want to upgrade my Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 but I am being notified that my CPU is not up to requirements, It's an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40 40GHz. Only identified restriction is that the processor has to be larger then 1 GHZ. What else is
    wrong with my processor.
