Windows 10: Hardware requirements for game bar.

So, I have contacted people at least 4 times on this issue and have gotten nothing to work. I'm just about losing hope, but thought why not ask for help from the community.


I just learned today about the Game Bar on my windows 10, and am really excited to use it to record my builds on the computer for work, since up till know I've had a camera blocking most of my view from the computer screen. . Pictures work fine, but I don't need pictures for doing as I want. I need videos, and that has been my Issue.


When trying to record a video, the same message pops up over and over again. "Your PC doesn't have the required hardware in able to use video capturing" Goin to setting onto Gaming<Capture, it also says the exact same thing.


I have Reinstalled the windows 10, restarted the windows 10, talked to 4 of Microsoft experts, tried even installing other videos recorders such as nvidia nvenc download, and have checked Microsoft website to look over the help section.


I don't know if I am doing something wrong, or missing something. All I know is I've spent hours today doing research and trying to fix the issue.


PLEASE< PLEASE, Please, let me know if any of you know the answer to my issue.

PC doesn´t meet hardware requirements for game bar.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a fellow user in the Microsoft community.

It sounds like your graphics card may not be compatible with the recording functionality of Game Bar. Do you know what model your graphics card is?

Here's a page that lists the system requirements of Game Bar's DVR function:

If your PC doesn't meet those requirements, you won't be able to use Game Bar to record.
