    Have a problem with some driver causing BSOD but dont understantd which one


    Got BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL recently saying MODUL NAME: win32kbase and PROCESS NAME: dwm.exe

    P.S. My PC is a msi ge66 raider with i7 10750 which is undervolted -130 on core and -100 on cache if this info is needed

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

    This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers
    Have a problem with some driver causing BSOD but dont understantd which one [​IMG]


    Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


    I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    BSOD caused by driver atikmdag.sys

    Could be another driver causing the issue.

    Suggest you follow this and post in the BSOD section of the forum.

    Sound card amplification settings

    Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.
