Windows 10: Have lost my 2nd diplay.....recently updated to 1903 FWIW!!!

Have been running 2 'displays' for some time now....with success!
Primary display.....Video
2ndary....Audio from PC...via Displayport/HDMI

Today....spotted my sound settings have gone AWOL...and realised that only 1 display is showing in Nvidia control panel.

Have Googled a bit....and re-installed drivers for video card....to no avail!
Tried reinstalling card.....no difference.

I'm on the latest Win10 build.....1903 / 18362.175
Any thoughts....I'm totally stuck!!!

....Should add that I've also tried 'detecting' 2nd display in settings....and this fails!!

• What is the make and model of your Windows 10 device and Smart TV?
• asus x550 LA befor the update i was using the wireless diplay, smart tv is hitachi

• How do you connect your Windows 10 device to your Smart TV? Are you using a streaming device?

• just start from the tv wireless diplay then from the laptop i open connect from the menu and connect to the tv

• Are you getting any error messages?
• yes , can't connect to tv

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• remove the device and add it again, reinstall windows 2 times, reinstall video card divers,

• What is the current OS Build of your Windows 10 PC?
• windows 10 pro

 

Local profile issue after upgrading to 1903

As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.
