    Having an issue installing windows 10


    Hello, I'm having an issue with installing windows 10 on a new Pc Build. Its a 3600x with the stock cooler, Zotac 1650, 16gb of Corsair ram in dual channel with a 2tb HD and an asus prime b550 plus. I've left everything stock in the bios and every component shows up but when trying to install windows on a USB I keep getting the same error code Kmode exception not handled what failed being storport.sys. I've looked around and im seeing different things like drivers needing to be updated, bad memory etc. I'm guessing my mobo bios may need to be updated since it is new. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

    It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

    It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

    I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

    There very simple and i've already tried them. The problem that i face is that the software (this app) does not find any updates for me .
    Many people across the world have this issues .So you need the proxy etc thing to get it to work.
