Windows 10: Having issue with my device, printer won't connect

Hi, I need some help with my device. I'm trying to use my printer but it's not working, it was detected earlier and after restarting it won't connect anymore the cable is connected properly and my printer is on. What might be the problem?

Yes I am using a genuine apple cable and tried your method but still having issues . The device connects and all looks fine for a few minutes then it drops connection then reconnects and repeats this behaviour so I've gave up .see attached images.

I have windows 10 and my printer is HP OFFICEJET PRO 8610. My laptop says it is offline What do I do?

Printer update failed for a device that is not connected

We are glad to provide the assistance required to help resolve your issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

Did you have any old printer that you may have connected to your PC?

As per the info that you have provided, I suggest that you navigate to
Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers. Here remove all the printers that are
greyed out, listed under Unspecified or
connected to your PC. Once done reconfigure your printer with your PC and check if you still get the update error.

Also, I suggest that you open Device Manager and check if you find the printer in question listed under it. To open follow the steps below

1. Right click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager.

2. Here locate the printer that the update has mentioned.

3. Double click to expand it, right click and select Uninstall.

4. Reboot the computer and check.
