  1. Having issue with WiFi disconnecting..help! Deleted network adapter

I deleted my WiFi network adapter in device manager because of a video I was watching on YT. He said it would reinstall after restart. Well it never came back. I didn’t note down the name of the adapter or create a restore point before. Now my WiFi works for awhile and will disconnect. I’ve tried multiple solutions to try and fix it but to no avail. How do I get my network adapter back?

    Issues with network adapters

    Hi Alfonso,

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If the issue persists, kindly try the troubleshooting steps on the following link:

Fix network connection issues in Windows 10
    .

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands, and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.

  3. Wifi disconnects. Tested 2 differents adapter

    Hello
I have a new computer with an integrated PCI wifi adapter (TP-Link TL-WN881ND)
I also tested a usb wifi adapter and I have the exact same issue :
Wifi disconnects after a few minutes (first it stops receiving data, then it disconnects). When I run a speed test it always disconnects in the middle of it. If I only browse the web it can take longer.
    What I tried :
    - With windows integrated driver, and latest TP link driver
    - tested my usb adapter on another windows 10 computer : works fine
    - tested wired network : works fine
    - tried disabling "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
    - I have other devices on the same wifi, works fine. I also tested this computer on another wifi network, same issue.

    Thanks for your help.
