Windows 10: Having Problems When Installing VPN Network Adapters Drivers

I need some help I'm trying to install radmin vpn but when I go to install and this also happens with any kind of network adapter i try to install as anybody else had this problem before? please help and let me know if you need any other information thanks

Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

• On the search bar type “ Device Manager”
• On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
• Right on the “ Network driver” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Network adapters not installing correctly or VPN's not installing properly on Win10?

I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should.

This problem may also prevent wired Ethernet connections from functioning correctly. This affects connections that are made through either a built-in Ethernet adapter or a USB Ethernet adapter.

Note Multiple issues may cause this problem. This article lists the known issues and the appropriate resolutions.

Issue 1: Unsupported VPN software

Symptoms

Unsupported VPN software is present during the upgrade to Windows 10.

Cause

This issue may occur if older VPN software is installed on Windows 8.1 and is present during the upgrade to Windows 10. Older software versions contain a filter driver (the Deterministic Network Enhancer) that is not upgraded correctly.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

• Open an administrative Command Prompt window
• Run the following commands:
  
  reg delete HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f netcfg -v -u dni_dne

This issue has been reported to Microsoft to occur when older versions of the Cisco VPN client and SonicWall Global VPN client are used. You should contact their VPN vendor to obtain software that is supported for use on Windows 10.
