Windows 10: Having Trouble Installing Windows 10, Version 20H2 Error 0x8007000d

I really miss when my computer ran smoothly under Windows 7 and didn't run into new problems every time. So, I can't install the latest Windows update apparently because I'm getting the error code in my title. I can't use the useless troubleshooter because it says it couldn't identify the problem. Microsoft brilliantly doesn't allow you to manually download the latest update anymore. It also doesn't let you install the windows update agent tool on Windows 10 again brilliant. So, what exactly am I supposed to do? I tried to delete all of the items in the "Software Distribution" folder in Safe Mode. Still having the same problems. I tried to enable something in the Group Policy Editor. Still the same problem. I'm really tired of this Windows software...

Hi, failure to upgrade- assuming that's what's happened- is not uncommon. It's a complex process.

If you research the error number- which can be useful- you may find

I suggest you try two simple steps initially and see if it helps.

1. Run the Window Update Troubleshooter (Settings, search for trouble)

2. If that doesn't help, try a tutorial from the Tutorial section here - take a moment to become familiar with this excellent resource:

Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

When you try to upgrade again, please take the basic precautions recommended in this tutorial:
Upgrade to Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
- uninstall any AV or security software
- disconnect any unnecessary peripherals
- try a clean boot if necessary

Make sure you have at least 25Gb free on your C: partition

That tutorial includes links to fault finding upgrades; the links point to articles with further links.

You can do the upgrade manually- download the iso, mount it, view the new 'drive' in file explorer and run setup.exe

This means it's under your control and could save repeat downloads for reattempts.

Can't install updates or upgrade windows 10, error 0x8007000d

I can't seem to install any windows updates, and when I tried to upgrade my windows 10 version to the latest version, I keep getting the same error messages.

Here are the warning message(s) I'm getting.
