Windows 10: Having Trouble Updating Windows Server 2016

Hi, Ihave been trying to update my Windows Server 2016, But its giving me a hardtime. 1. Tried Get Updates in Windows Settings- Its Seraching for eternity.2. Tried updating manually- Searching for update on this computer and struck there.3. SFC Scannow in Cmd promt- Struck in 72%I Have attached some screenshots of my trouble, Please Help me.

Windows updates are failed in Windows Server 2016

We are using Windows Server 2016 for additional AD. And We are tried to install windows update in server. But Update Failed to install. I had try to lot of steps,
The below error is showed ,
• 2019-12 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4530689) - Error 0x80073701

Please provide best solution.

 

Does windows(10/server-2016) have privileged ports ?

I can bind to any un-used privileged ports with out admin credentials. Is this expected ? Is there no concept of privileged ports in new versions of windows ?

Below are the steps I followed:

1. Logged in as non-admin user in Windows-server 2016.
2. Installed python and started the server on port 80 using python -m SimpleHTTPServer 80
3. Another user on the same system could access using http://localhost

Can anyone provide more in-sight into this ?

 

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

They made it part of the WU client then, or it's two different things doing the same. Too bad you can't download it separately.
