  1. hbd file not working in task scheduler

    Hello everyone, first sorry for the wrong title, it should be vbs file. I’ve created a vbs file that auto-fills a webpage. When I double clicked it, it worked perfectly fine. But when I put it into task scheduler and run it, it always asked me to select the program to run my file. The problem is that whenever I chose the wscript.exe in no matter System32 or SysWOW64, it always shows the following error.

    The program you have selected cannot be associated with this file type. Please choose another one.

    I’ve sent my file to multiple friends and it works fine on their task scheduler. I’ve tried to set the default program of vbs file in setting and also basically everything I could change in task scheduler, but they ain’t helping.

    Does anyone has a solution? Thanks.

    Task Scheduler Batch file

    Hi all,

    Looking for some help.Im creating a batch file to run for different users to add a scheduled task. HOWEVER - the whole thing works great and has done for some time.But after i run the batch file on each machine (different users) i have to go into the security options and change the user the task runs in to the unique user of that machine. Is there a way to use the batch file to pull the account name of the machine (or computer name) and use that as the user the task runs in?

    Thanks =)
