Windows 10: Headphone jack not working?

I have an issue where the first time I plug in headphones, it works, but once I take them out I need to restart my entire computer to use them again. It doesn't even sense them, my computer just tells me nothing's plugged in despite something being plugged in. All my drivers are up-to-date and I give up at this point. All physical connections are fine and undamaged. Anyone able to help?

Edit: For further information, my case the thing with the headphone jack is an NZXT H510, and it's plugged into my motherboard, a Gigabyte B450M DS3H, with the newest BIOS. I hope this helps.
