  1. Headphones aren't working

    I need help trying to fix my audio problems, I've run every troubleshooter that is relevant, tried to install legacy hardware, tried to install the audio driver from my motherboard manufacturer's website (it caused my computer to bluescreen) and scoured a hundred forum posts. I can't seem to fix the issue, but my headphones (that are maybe a week old) aren't working at all. They aren't being detected, which makes me think that it is a driver issue. I've even tried wiping the drive and reinstalling Windows today, didn't help. The HD Audio Controllers are listed under system devices instead of audio devices and one has a code 10 presenting this error.

    In the events, it gives me this error:

    Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A348&SUBSYS_87231043&REV_10\3&11583659&0&FB had a problem starting.

    Driver Name: hdaudbus.inf

    Class Guid: {4d36e97d-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

    Service: HDAudBus

    Lower Filters:

    Upper Filters:

    Problem: 0xA

    Problem Status: 0xC0000001

    I have checked in services to see if Windows Audio is running and it is, and I am able to play audio from the speakers on my monitor, but cannot seem to use the headphones. Any help would be appreciated and I will try to respond ASAP.

    System specs:

    Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix H-370I Gaming

    CPU: Intel Core i5-8600K

    Graphics Card: ASUS DUAL 1060 6GB

    System: Windows 10

    HDD: A generic WD 1TB

    :)
