Windows 10: Headphones device missing from "Playback Devices" and Device Manager after Realtek driver...

I have an an odd situation. All my audio devices show up correctly in my device list when I'm using the Windows default High Definition Audio device Drivers. However once I install the Realtek drivers, my headphone device disappears. It's not hidden, lurking or otherwise - just gone. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps from various posts including this one here Headphones missing on playback devices,, but no joy. Additionally (and not surprisingly) the headphones and speaker are no longer separate. Plugging in the headphones stops the sound playback on the speaker. The reason for needing the Realtek drivers is to support the ASUS Sonic Studio 3 application.


As soon as I uninstall the Realtek drivers, all is back to normal.


Any ideas? Am i missing something?

No Playback Device Option in Realtek HD Audio Manager


I would like to switch the audio output between front headset and rear speaker in Realtek HD Audio Manager. I remember before there was a "Playback Device" option in the software. Then, choose "make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously" But it missing.

Audio devices in Device Manager, but not in Playback Devices

So I see no one has been able to solve this. This is the exct problem |I am having with a brand new acer swift 3 i5. Has anyone ever figured this out... Oh and as for firebird suggestion. I have reinstalled windows twice with no difference ...Help Me if you can please. P.S. Actually I did not consult with ancestral spirits... Apparently they have no use for me!

 

Headphones missing on playback devices.

I want to set my headphones as my default device, but I can't find it on playback devices, I tried checking "Show disabled devices" and "Show disconnected devices" but I still can't find Headphones, the reason I'm doing this because I want to mute the
speakers while the headphones are still playing with sounds because when my headphones accidentally get disconnected to the audio jack, it causes disturbance here because I always listen to music, I tried the solutions I found on this community but didn't
solve the problem.

My driver is Realtek High Definition Audio.

Also, when I use my headphones, I saw the speakers on playback devices playing (Green lines on the right) but all of the sounds are coming to the headphone, it's not even coming to the outside speakers.

Please help.
