Windows 10: Headset getting silenced when I lock desktop. Is there a setting??

Whenever I lock my desktop (Windows+L) at work, the audio in my headset fades out and then fades back in when I unlock. I don't want my meeting audio to get silenced when I lock the desktop for the minute that it takes for me to grab something from the breakroom that's right behind me, and I don't want to leave it unlocked, either.

Is there a setting that changes this behavior? I haven't had any luck with Google.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

I appreciate it I was more looking to see if anyone knows something that can fit my bill in that budget. Trust me I know all about the $300 range and even considered audio technica m50x with a condenser mic *Stick Out Tongue

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
