Windows 10: Headset Issue

Hi,


For quite some time I've been trying to deal with a problem where my Headset makes too much noise (at least I suspect that this is the issue), However the problem starts when I try to talk with people through Discord or Skype for instance..It seems like my microphone "hears" the sound that is coming out of my Headphones and it results in a problem where the people I speak with hear what's going on in my computer (Videos etc)..I realized that the playback section sees my Headphones as speakers and perhaps this is the reason? I am lost...

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

For further clarity on the issue and to guide you accordingly, respond to the questions listed below:

1. What is the make and model of the headset?
   
2. What is the make and model of the PC?
   
3. Have you tried using the headset in a different audio port?
   
4. Have you tried using the headset on a different PC?
   

As you have mentioned you have tried some steps, may I know, what are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?



Also, if you are using a headset with built in Microphone, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Right click on the Speaker icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
   
2. Click on Sounds and under
   Recording Devices select the Microphone.
   
3. Click on Properties and select
   Listen tab.
   
4. Check the box Listen to this device.
   
5. Now select the Default Playback Device under
   Playback through this device menu.
   
6. Click on Apply and then OK.
   
7. Click on OK.
