    Headset Mic Not Working


    For the past few weeks I've been having issues with my mic and for a while I didn't have much but earlier today I discovered something. So as background my mic has broken multiple times, I thought it was my Oculus which part of it may be but then I used my Oculus and it worked fine. However the issue also happened when I turned off my pc. Additionally I have found 2 fixes this has happened 3 times and each time it happens the previous fixes don't work. I've been confused as to what the issue is still am and I wasn't sure if it was physical or digital.However, today I found something inte

    Headset Mic Not Working

    I really need some help.

    I have a Cloud Stinger HyperX headset.

    So the Microphone was working fine for many months then a few weeks ago it just stopped.

    It does not show up on my list of Recording Devices anymore.

    The only Mic I have is the one built in the computer.

    I have tried multiple solutions and nothing works. Any suggestions?

    What is the brand/model of the headset mic combo?

    What front panel audio jack(s) do you have? Some are only mic or only headset, some can be either mic or headset whichever is plugged in and some are combination headset/mic.

    I have no problem with the audio, only with the mic.

    I don't have another headset to check with.
