Windows 10: Headset mic plays internal pc sounds

I might have been deafening everyone I play with on discord w/o know until a friend told me today. The mic just transmits the game audio, video audio, music audio that I run into it and it sounds horrible, not even quality transmission whenn I called myself from another computer to check.

I googled around and saw some people having the same problems 1-6 years back, but either the fixes doesn't apply to my system or it doesn't work.
-I do have the latest Realtek audio driver downloaded since I built my PC 3 weeks ago.
-People said to go into mic settings for noise cancellation (VoizReal Exp tab) and muting stereo mix tab, but I do not have any of those settings.
-microphone-Properties-"Advanced" tab-"Exclusive Mode" Section-"Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is disabled, I have this setting but it did not matter if it was on or off.

-My PC case has separated audio and mic, so I also bought an adapter for my headset if that matters, since my headset works on my MacBook air perfectly with audio+mic jack all in one.
(PC have so many issues -.-)

Headset Echoing and Playing Internal Sound Through Mic

I have an Astro A40 headset that has worked fine for me for over a year now. But, all of a sudden the last month it has started echoing and often playing my internal sounds (game Im playing or youtube video Im watching) through my mic. I have done everything
I can like switching settings on and off in the recording and audio tabs of the sound control panel, making sure my headset is my default device, updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling my audio drivers, etc. and cannot find a fix anywhere. If I go
to System settings on Windows, and then go to Sound, whenever my Master Volume bar goes up from some audio I am hearing, the bar next to my microphone goes up with it at the same time, even if my mic is muted. This is what makes me think my audio output is
somehow playing through my mic. If someone knows how to solve this I would really appreciate it

 

Laptop won't detect built-in mic on headsets/earbuds

I'm running Windows 10 home on a Lenovo Ideapad laptop, and it doesn't detect the mic on any of my headsets/earbuds. I can hear playback fine on my headsets/earbuds, but it can't speak through them, since it insists on using the laptop's internal mic. This results in my typing/mouse clicks all being captured on audio.

• In sound properties recording tab, I just see "microphone (Realtek high def audio)" and "stereo mix (Realtek high def audio)"
  
• In sound properties playback tab, I just see "speakers (Realtek high def audio)", yet I hear audio fine on my headsets/earbuds?
  
• In device manager, it doesn't detect a headset either, displays the same list as the recording tab

So do all 3 of my headsets/earbuds have some kind of "plug and play but stays invisible to the OS" feature? One of them is the default Apple earbuds, I'm 100% sure there's a mic on there and these are brand new, so they aren't broken. Are these not supposed to appear as a "headset" device with the headset icon in sound properties?

 

headset and/or internal mic not working

I can't get my headset to work in windows 7. the mic is acknowledged but doesn't work. I have uninstalled the audio drivers - rebooted and had them reinstall - both with the headset and mic plugged in and unplugged. The internal mic is not showing. So
I have neither the internal mic nor the external mic to work with.
