Windows 10: Headset one side not working after plugging in my other broken headset

My steelseries arctis prime headset broke about 2 months ago, the issue was that the left sides sound didnt work but the right side sound of the headset did and i just put them away. From then ive been using my other headset which is my old one which is a generic usb headset. I was using it today in the morning at it was working completely fine, then i took it off and put on my steelseries headset because its more comfortable and i wasnt gaming so i didnt need the both sides sound and i wanted to check if they were suddenly working. after i was done using them i plugged my generic headset in a

• Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
• If you're using a laptop, does the built-in speaker works?
• Are you using a USB headset or does your headset has a 3.5mm jack?
• Do your headset works on other devices?
• Have you tried using other headsets on your computer?

Headset Mic "Not Plugged In"

• Did you already try to plugged the headset into another port which indicating the mic and headset icon?
• When did the issue first occur?
• Did you already try to use another headset to other devices and check if you are encountering the same issue?

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
