Windows 10: Hello, My files are missing

Hello,

When I turned on my computer this morning, I received an error saying that it couldn't log into my account. I used my PIN and fingerprint. I restarted my computer --first time same thing, second time I was able to log in. The problem is that all of my files have disappeared, my background is generic, but my programs are still here? HP Envy - Windows 10. Any suggestions?

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g. updates, software installation)?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what specific troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you try reinstalling your camera driver to resolve the issue.
