  1. Hello, Question 1) how do i find out what is accessing my flashstick. It has been blinking...

I inserted flashstick and immediately It started blinking and continues to do so for 3 hours or more. I cannot get to the files inside. I do not know what files it contains but would be music files, movie files and maybe some pdfs.

In the window "my PC" I can see

    - "C" drive with colour bar graph indicating used capacity and spare capacity

    - "D" drive which is the DVD burner

    - "G" drive which is the flashstick I mentioned. The icon for "G" drive looks kind of dead or greyed out. There is no colour bar graph but there should be.

I have a Lenovo T440P thinkpad running Win10. there is a single SSD drive in this laptop with several partitions including drive "C"

When I double click the icon for flashstick drive "G" (in my PC), all I get is a small error message "please insert a disk into USB drive (GHello, Question 1) how do i find out what is accessing my flashstick. It has been blinking... :)". The flashstick will not open.

    :)

  2. Blinking will not stop

    Hello Aswin_Anad,

Thank you for your assistance. Please see the answers to your questions below:

    1. Compaq CQ2024PC

    2. Windows Update

    3. No error message or code on screen.

    4. As soon as the update was finished.

    5. No changes were made prior to issues.

I also can not use the methods listed (Run the SDC or update the drivers) due to the blinking. As soon as I attempt to access any portion of the screen, start menu, program listing or files on the computer the system starts going into the endless loop and
    the screen continues to blink.
