Windows 10: Help a Newbie Create a RAMDisk

Well, I think the most important reward you get is that I will tell everyone here that you are the greatest person alive!

If they could help me do the following.
First, solve the following questions with a bit of proof.1. Can you tell me and prove to me which ramdisk software is the best?a. OSFMountb. Primo Ramdiskc. DiskMaster Freed. Gillisoft RAMDiske. Primo RAMDiskf. SuperSpeed RAMDiskg. VSuite RAMDiskh. RAMDiskXPI. Qilling Disk Master Pofessionalj. Ultra RAMDiskk. Miray RAM Drivel. Any others...2. After reading any answers (if I get any at all), I'll pick a ramdisk software that the person could help install.I've tried installing a ramdisk about 3-4 times and I've screwed up on all of them. I admit I am an idiot. I bricked my computer once. And, the other times, they were very unpleasant experiences.This is what I want to do. I have about 64 gigs of RAM that I installed for this purpose. (Maybe allot 48 gigs for the RAMdisk.)I want to put the appropriate cache's on the ramdisk to make my computer go faster. That's obvious. But I also want to install the following programs onto the ramdisk:1. Microsoft Office2. Nuance Power PDF Advanced3. ChromeThroughout the day, I completely terminate and then open these programs. So, they don't ever completely remain in RAM. But, since I open and close them so many times per day, things would go so much faster if I had them on a RAMDisk. The biggest annoyance is Power PDF. It sometimes takes like 10 seconds to open a pdf. It would be nice if it was instantaneous.Anyone up to the challenge!!!

You don't need one with 64Gb RAM.

Last free version of Softperfect Ramdisk:

Download SoftPerfect RAM Disk - MajorGeeks

You shouldn't install programs on it. You could run a few portable apps from it if it's persistent but most people use Ramdisk for privacy so contents are cleared on shutdown.

If you want to move browser cache you'd have to create the folders first:

For everything else just change TEMP/TMP environment variables but create the folder structure on the RAMdisk first.

If using a non persistent RAMdisk you must set it to create the folders you need.

[SOLVED] Temporary Internet Files (location) corrupted since creating 'RAMdisk'

Hi!

I'm having this issue for some time now and I don't know how to fix it. It's "Temporary Internet Files" within the Internet (Explorer) Settings, that also affected the Edge.

I created RAMdisk to try storing Internet files on it to speed up my browsing. That worked great!

I just moved the Temporary folder location to the RAMdisk.

The problem is, I can't restore Temporary folders to it's original location.

So basically Internet Explorer and Edge do not have any history and do not save anything if RAMdisk is not running.

I tried moving back the saving location with or without RAMdisk but it keeps reverting the save location to 'blank' if RAMdisk is not running and reverting location to RAMdisk if RAMdisk is running.

RAMdisk is a tool that creates HDD out of RAM, making that HDD faster than SSD or anyting else.
