Windows 10: [HELP][BUG] Start Menu is merging all tiles

BUG:
As you can see those tiles, it is merged.
If there is/are no texts in between, they will merge...
The Game tiles are also placed at the back of
"Discord, MS Teams, and Slack" which it can't be seen in the first screenshot(Figure 1).

I have already reformatted my Laptop and still, it happens.

This is my PC Specs:
Build 2004 of Windows 10 Pro.

This is an official update.
I never did the Windows Insider Program.

how do i reset the start menu in windows 10 to not show tiles?

A few days ago, my friends Win10 computer stopped showing his desktop and now only shows the tiles (he wants to see the default list of programs, not any tiles).

Clicking on the Windows key or "start menu" doesn't change anything. I stepped him through some online suggestions (including Settings/Start/Use-start-full-screen and making sure Settings/Table-mode was not engaged) but they don't work.

I've also compared his settings (Start/Use-start-full... and Table-mode) to my Win10 machine and they are the same.

Assistance/suggestions would be appreciated.

When microsoft will fix the start menu tiles bug ?

Hi, i like the start menu setting which is "only tiles without list of all apps" by set the start menu like this



but since the last update ( 1709 ) the tiles is error, become hang if i drag the tiles, and sometimes reset the tiles after hang, and now i can't add any tiles, i just browsing trough internet and found that so much people have the same issue and no one
have any solutions, somebody tell me that possible issue is the graphic card, but why peoples with both nvidia and amd have the same issue ?
when microsoft will fix this bug ? or if anyone have any help it would be greatly appreciated, hope the future update will fix this bug.

 

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
