I was swapping motherboards and saw my HDD has a screw in the bay that won't budge, what better time to it then now. Anyway the only way I could unscrew the ******* was using a dremel to cut it and use a flathead screwdriver to take it out, problem is I am very worried about the sparks/metal pieces that may have gotten into my pc case. Right now my case is completely empty and just has the case fans and wires.
How can I clean this safely and thoroughly? I really don't want to mess up my pc when I put it back together. Magnet? Vacuum? Compressed air? Thanks so much

    :)

  2. Lumia 925 Wireless charging problem

This worked for me. Papers did not help.

I used a ball point dremel tool to make an angle on the phone plastic around the contacts.

    Chronos1981,

3D Builder engineer here. What Dremel printer are you using?

Currently the only printer we support from Dremel is the
    3d Idea Builder
    .

If it is the 3D Idea Builder you should be able to change the temperature through the UI on the printer. There is no way to adjust the temperature settings of the printer via 3D Builder.

    Hope this helps.

Perhaps then wipe out the case with a cloth soaked in industrial alcohol (the 96% stuff you get for cleaning not drinking).

That stuff is safe and excellent for dissolving grime stuff sticks to.

A splash in your bucket is good for cleaning windows (glass not operating system) too and pretty much anything around the house so you needn't feel bad getting a big bottle. It only costs about 0.89 a liter here in the supermarket.

Use duck tape to catch the droppings. They stick very well to tape.

Duct Tape may be a better description

Or for removing Hairs you could try Gorilla Tape

One other thing on a more serious note

Never use compressed air to remove metal shards / filings from a workpiece - you can use a vacuum cleaner but compressed air will convert the metal into high speed projectiles which have an affinity for the human eyeball - not a good thing

If it were mine I'd probably use several methods. What one misses another would get, in order: blowing, sticky take (masking/printers tape, easier to get into corner than duct tape); wet wiping. Note sure about magnets, unless the case is aluminum.

While it certainly won't hurt to clean the particles out, I wouldn't worry about it that much either. If you had left the motherboard in and it got coated that would be much more concerning.
